Money and Prices
There are no electrum or platinum coins in the Beoling campaign. Platinum pieces do exist but only as old coins that were once used by the Ancients. A platinum coin in good condition is worth about five gold pieces to a collector.
To add a bit of individual flavour to the game, I have given names to the coins in circulation.
Gold piece = sceat (plural sceatta)
Silver piece = silver penny
Copper Piece = copper
Many prices in the Beoling campaign are the same as those in the 2nd edition Player's Handbook but armour and weapons (except leather, shields, and spears) cost as much as ten times more. Some common items have had their prices reduced and I have added and subtracted some other items.
